There’s great news for farmers in Madhya Pradesh!
The state government has launched the e-Krishi Yantra Subsidy Portal to encourage modern and mechanized farming. Under this initiative, farmers can apply online for subsidies on various agricultural machines.
Applications are open until November 11, 2025.

Machinery Covered Under the Scheme

The Department of Agricultural Engineering has invited applications for several major farm machines, including:

1. Straw Management System (SMS)
2. Sugarcane Equipment: Raiser, Sugarcane Ratoon Manager, and Sugarcane Cutter Planter
3. Raised Bed Planter with Inclined Plate Planter and Shaper
4. Groundnut Equipment: Groundnut Decorticator (Power Operated) and De-stoner/Gradient Separator

Applications for all these machines are being accepted from November 1 to November 11, 2025.
Based on the number of applications received, district-wise targets will be finalized, and beneficiaries will be selected through a lottery system.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only registered farmers of Madhya Pradesh are eligible.
• For the Straw Management System, the farmer must already own a combine harvester.
• The applicant must not have received any subsidy earlier for the same equipment.

Subsidy Rate

The subsidy percentage varies according to the farmer’s category:

• SC/ST and Small/Marginal Farmers: 40%–50% of the unit cost
• Other Farmers: 30%–40% of the unit cost

The portal also features a subsidy calculator, allowing farmers to estimate their subsidy amount. However, the final approved amount will depend on several factors.

Demand Draft (DD) Requirement

Applicants must submit a Demand Draft (DD) as a security deposit along with their application.
Applications without DD will not be accepted.

• ₹6,000 DD — for Raised Bed Planter
• ₹3,000 DD — for Groundnut Decorticator
• ₹3,000 DD — for De-stoner/Gradient Separator

The DD must be made from the applicant’s own bank account and submitted in favor of the Assistant Agricultural Engineer of the concerned district.

Farmers should keep the following documents ready while applying:

• Aadhaar Card
• Copy of Bank Passbook
• Caste Certificate
• Copy of Land Record (B-1)
• Electricity Connection Certificate
• Passport-size Photograph
• Mobile Number

• The process is completely online.
• e-KYC verification through a fingerprint-based L1 registered device is mandatory.
• Farmers who cannot apply themselves can visit the nearest MP Online or CSC Center for assistance.
