Big Update on PM-Kisan’s 19th Installment: Who Will Receive the Money and How to Register Live?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year, transferred directly into their bank accounts in three equal installments. Now, the wait for the 19th installment is almost over, as the government is set to release the funds on February 24, 2025.

This time, around 9.7 crore farmers will receive ₹2,000 each in their bank accounts. Compared to the 18th installment, an additional 20 lakh farmers will benefit from this scheme.

₹21,000 Crore to be Released on February 24:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 19th installment from Bhagalpur, Bihar, on February 24, 2025. The government will distribute over ₹21,000 crore, providing direct financial assistance to crores of farmers.

The 18th installment, released from Washim, Maharashtra, on October 5, 2024, benefited 9.5 crore farmers with over ₹20,000 crore. This time, the number of beneficiaries has increased to 9.7 crore, ensuring an additional 20 lakh farmers receive financial support.

Total Amount Distributed Under PM-Kisan So Far:

So far, under the PM-Kisan scheme, the government has disbursed over ₹3 lakh crore in 18 installments. Every three months, eligible farmers receive a ₹2,000 installment in their bank accounts to support their agricultural needs.

More Than 20 Lakh Farmers to Benefit from the 19th Installment:

In the 18th installment, 9.5 crore farmers received the benefit. However, in the 19th installment, the number has increased to 9.7 crore, meaning an additional 20 lakh farmers will get financial assistance.

The government has released a registration link for farmers who want to watch the live broadcast of PM Modi releasing the 19th installment. By registering, farmers will also receive notifications about the event.

3. Enter your name and mobile number in the form.
