The harvesting of Rabi crops is in full swing in Madhya Pradesh. However, recent strong storms, heavy rainfall, and hailstorms have caused significant damage to crops in several districts. According to government reports, around 2,194 hectares of crops have been completely destroyed across 12 districts of the state.
To compensate for these losses, the state government has initiated the process of providing financial aid to farmers. Surveys are currently being conducted in the affected regions to assess the actual damage and ensure proper relief distribution.
The districts that have suffered the most crop damage include:
A total of 2,160 farmers from 275 villages across 29 tehsils in these districts have lost 2,194 hectares of crops. Additionally, lightning strikes have resulted in five fatalities, the loss of 16 cattle, and damage to two houses.

The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to supporting farmers affected by hailstorms, storms, and heavy rains. Once the survey process is complete, compensation will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the affected farmers.
