According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), westerly winds are expected to intensify over the next two days, leading to a drop in temperature.
According to the meteorological department, the weather in several districts of UP will remain dry for the next few days. Due to westerly winds, a decrease in minimum temperature will be observed. However, the afternoons will be hot due to the strong sunlight.
As per IMD, westerly winds will be highly effective in western Uttar Pradesh. These winds may cause a drop in temperature. While they will not significantly impact the daytime temperature, they will maintain a cooler effect at night. The impact of these winds will be more prominent in the eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh.
In the capital city, Lucknow, strong westerly winds have been blowing for the past two days. These winds have not only improved air quality but also increased the cold in the mornings and evenings, making people experience a slight chill again. The daytime temperature is expected to remain between 28-30°C, while at night, it may drop to 12-14°C.
Varanasi Remains the Coldest District:
According to the meteorological department, Varanasi is currently the coldest city in Uttar Pradesh, witnessing a significant drop in minimum temperature. Meanwhile, as per the Amausi Weather Center in Lucknow, Bahraich recorded the lowest temperature in UP on Monday, with a minimum temperature of 10.8°C.
Temperature Fluctuations in Other Districts:
Several districts in UP are experiencing temperature variations. The impact of westerly winds has led to a drop in temperatures in Bareilly, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, and Ayodhya as well.
