Taking another major step towards women empowerment, the Central Government has launched a new internship scheme for women from rural and semi-urban areas. Under this scheme, selected women will gain hands-on experience working in various government ministries, along with training, stipend, and essential facilities.
This scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and is inspired by the theme: “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.
This internship program is specifically designed for women aged 21 to 40 years from rural or semi-urban backgrounds who have so far had limited exposure to government systems or employment opportunities.
Through this initiative, women will not only learn about government policies and programs but also evolve into self-reliant, aware citizens.
Participants will get an opportunity to work on government pilot projects or policy-related tasks during the internship.
