Women in Madhya Pradesh are about to receive another benefit under the Chief Minister's Laadli Behna Yojana. The government is soon going to release the 21st installment of this scheme, which will benefit 1.27 crore women in the state. The amount for Laadli Behna Yojana is transferred directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts on the 10th of every month. This time, the amount is expected to be released between February 10th and 15th, 2025. Although no official announcement has been made yet, it is anticipated that the 21st installment will be released between these dates, based on the previous months' schedule.
The 20th installment of this scheme was released on January 12, 2025. Considering festivals and special occasions, the government may release the amount earlier than the scheduled date. Beneficiary women are hopeful of receiving this financial assistance soon.
How Did the Scheme Begin?
The Madhya Pradesh government launched Laadli Behna Yojana in May 2023. The first installment of ₹1000 was credited to the beneficiaries' accounts in June 2023. Later, the amount was increased to ₹1250 per month. So far, 20 installments have been released, and preparations for the 21st installment are underway.
