A wave of happiness has once again spread across Madhya Pradesh, as Chief Minister Mohan Yadav released the 29th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana. Under this phase, an amount of ₹1,541 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of over 1.26 crore women beneficiaries.

The biggest highlight of this installment is the increase in the monthly amount — now every eligible woman will receive ₹1,500 per month, up from the earlier ₹1,250.
Chief Minister Yadav said, “Our festive gift to the sisters of Madhya Pradesh will continue during Diwali and Bhai Dooj as well.”

Monthly Assistance Increased to ₹1,500

During a public event in Sheopur, CM Mohan Yadav officially announced the enhancement of the monthly aid under the Ladli Behna Yojana.
Previously, the amount was ₹1,250 per month, which has now been raised to ₹1,500.
The Chief Minister also hinted that more good news for women will be announced around Diwali and Bhai Dooj.

Over 1.26 Crore Women Receive Benefits

According to the state government, 1,26,86,000 women beneficiaries have received benefits under this latest installment.
The Chief Minister transferred the funds with a single click, ensuring direct benefit delivery to all eligible women across the state.

Major Announcements for Farmers

Along with the Ladli Behna Yojana, CM Yadav also made several important announcements for farmers during the event:

  • The Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat has been fixed at ₹2,600 per quintal, including a bonus.
  • Farmers are being financially strengthened through schemes like Bhavantar Yojana.
  • CM urged farmers not to sell their land, emphasizing that “in the coming years, this land will be worth many times more.”
  • He also mentioned that the Parvati–Kalisindh–Chambal River Linking Project will bring immense benefits to farmers in Sheopur and nearby regions.

Rapid Growth in the Health Sector

Highlighting the progress in healthcare under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has witnessed remarkable expansion in medical facilities.

  • In 2002, the state had only 5 medical colleges.
  • Today, the number has increased to 32, including 8 new colleges established in the past year alone.
He also announced plans to set up nursing and paramedical colleges in Sheopur, creating new employment opportunities for youth.

Towards a Prosperous Madhya Pradesh
