Harvesting of Rabi crops is in full swing, and to ensure farmers get a fair price for their produce, the government is starting procurement at Minimum Support Price (MSP). The Rajasthan government has announced the registration dates and procedure for MSP procurement of chickpeas (chana) and mustard (sarson). Rajasthan’s Cooperative Minister Gautam Kumar Daka stated that all preparations for purchasing mustard and chickpeas for Rabi season 2025-26 have been completed.

This year, 505 procurement centers have been set up in Rajasthan for both chickpeas and mustard. Farmers can register at e-Mitra centers starting April 1.

The Cooperative Minister has urged farmers to clean and sieve their produce before bringing it to the procurement centers. This ensures the produce meets quality standards, allowing farmers to easily get the MSP.
