Farmers in Sri Ganganagar district have a reason to celebrate. Now, there’s no need to stand in long queues at mandis to sell moong. The Rajasthan government has started online registration from 27 September 2025 for the procurement of moong under the Kharif-2025 MSP scheme.
Farmers who register on time can sell their produce at the government-set MSP of ₹8,768 per quintal. Delaying registration may result in missing out on this benefit. Interested farmers can register immediately at their nearest e-Mitra centers.
Registration for Moong and Other Crops
Cooperation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak announced that registration for moong, urad, groundnut, and soybean will soon be available in other districts of Rajasthan as well.
MSP rates declared by the central government:
Moong: ₹8,768 per quintal
Urad: ₹7,800 per quintal
Groundnut: ₹7,263 per quintal
Soybean: ₹5,328 per quintal
Mandatory Giradari Record
The minister clarified that no farmer will be allowed to register without a valid giradari record.
E-Mitra centers have been instructed to conduct registrations carefully as per RajFed guidelines.
Any unauthorized registration (e.g., farmers from outside the tehsil) will attract strict action.
Kharif-2025 Procurement Process
Procurement of pulses and oilseeds at MSP will follow PSS guidelines and the central government’s undertaking.
Purchase will begin only after the central government provides crop-wise targets.
RajFed officials have been directed to complete all arrangements for procurement.
How Farmers Can Register
Online registration is available on the e-Mitra portal from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Before registering, farmers should:
Ensure their bank account and Jan Aadhaar card details are updated.
Complete any pending e-KYC processes with their bank.
For any issues with registration or payments, farmers can call the RajFed helpline at 1800-180-6001.
