To inform farmers about new technologies in agriculture and introduce them to modern farming methods, the Horticulture Department of the Haryana Government is organizing the "Mega Vegetable Expo 2025." This agricultural fair will be held at the Centre of Excellence for Vegetables, Gharaunda (Karnal) from March 21 to 23, 2025.
This expo will be a golden opportunity especially for vegetable farmers, where they will learn about new technologies, advanced seeds, modern agricultural tools, and organic farming methods. The event will be attended by Haryana’s Chief Minister, Agriculture Minister, other agricultural officials, and various public representatives, who will provide valuable suggestions and share information about farming-related schemes.
This expo is not just an exhibition but also an opportunity for farmers to win big prizes. Through competitions and exhibitions, farmers will be honored for their agricultural achievements with tractors and other farm equipment.
Prizes to be awarded during the fair include:
• 1 mini tractor daily (Total 3 days = 3 tractors)
• 1 power weeder daily (Total 3)
• 10 farm tools daily (Total 30)
• Special prizes to over 100 farmers for vegetable, potato, and beekeeping excellence
Additionally, farmers who demonstrate excellence in vegetable production will be specially honored. The aim of this award scheme is to motivate farmers to adopt better and modern techniques.
