Weather experts have reported that Uttar Pradesh will experience light rain in some areas today, 22 October 2025, while the overall weather will remain dry from 23 to 27 October. Maximum temperatures across most districts are currently between 30°C and 33°C.
Uttar Pradesh is witnessing fluctuating weather patterns. Early mornings and evenings are experiencing cool, pleasant temperatures, while daytime warmth continues. According to the regional weather center in Amausi, Lucknow, western UP may see light rain or drizzle in some areas, whereas eastern UP is expected to remain dry.
Due to heavy firecrackers during Diwali, air quality has worsened in several districts, causing morning fog in certain areas.
Meteorologists have noted that clouds and rainfall in neighboring Uttarakhand could bring a drop in temperatures in UP. On 23 October, weather conditions are expected to change again. In Lucknow, light morning fog is likely, but the skies will clear during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 34°C, while the minimum will be around 23°C.
Over the next five days, the weather in UP is expected to remain dry, with clear skies in both eastern and western regions. On 24, 25, and 26 October, western and eastern UP are likely to continue experiencing dry conditions, with clear weather expected to persist thereafter.
Districts including Jhansi, Lalitpur, Meerut, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Kanpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Amethi, Raebareli, Barabanki, Sitapur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Rampur, Bareilly, Ghazipur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Kaushambi, and surrounding areas will experience normal weather during mornings and evenings.
Prayagraj, the maximum temperature recorded is 34.2°C, slightly above the normal by 1.6°C, while Gorakhpur recorded 33.8°C. Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh confirmed that no weather warnings are expected from 23 to 27 October. However, the last week of October may see another shift in weather, bringing colder temperatures across the state.
