How Can Farmers Register for Wheat Procurement?

Farmers can register online for selling their wheat by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of the Food Department of UP (fcs.up.gov.in) and complete the registration process.
  2. Registration can also be done through Jan Suvidha Kendras, cyber cafes, mobile apps, or procurement center officials.
  3. Farmers must bring verified land records (Khatauni), farmer registration certificate, and a photocopy of their Aadhaar card to the procurement center.
  4. Payments will be processed through the PFMS portal, ensuring direct transfer to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the farmer.

Government Preparations for Farmers' Convenience:

The UP government has arranged shaded seating, drinking water, and other facilities at procurement centers to prevent inconvenience to farmers. Additionally, digital weighing systems and a streamlined payment process have been introduced to ensure fair procurement and timely payments.

With record wheat production expected this year, MSP procurement offers a great opportunity for farmers to get the best price for their crops. If you are a farmer, register as soon as possible and sell your produce at government procurement centers!
