The Rajasthan government has made a major decision in the interest of farmers by increasing the financial assistance provided under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Previously, farmers received ₹6,000 annually in three installments of ₹2,000 each. Now, an additional ₹3,000 has been added, bringing the total annual assistance to ₹9,000.
This benefit is separate from the ₹6,000 received under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, providing further financial relief to the state's farmers.
What is the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
The Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a state-run scheme aimed at providing financial support to farmers, similar to the central PM Kisan Yojana. Key features of the scheme include:
Additional financial assistance of ₹3,000 per year from the Rajasthan government.
Farmers now receive a total of ₹9,000 annually.
This amount is in addition to the ₹6,000 received under the PM Kisan Yojana.
Increased Benefits Under the Scheme:
The Rajasthan government has enhanced the scheme’s benefits:
Previous assistance: ₹6,000 per year.
Increased by: ₹3,000.

Other Major Announcements for Farmers:
In addition to increasing the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi benefits, the Rajasthan government has launched several other farmer-friendly initiatives:
1. Expansion of Crop Loan Scheme
Over 35 lakh farmers will benefit.
A ₹25,000 crore interest-free short-term crop loan scheme has been introduced.
The government will provide ₹768 crore as an interest subsidy.
2. Interest-Free Loans for Cattle Farmers
An additional 2.5 lakh cattle farmers will benefit.
Rajasthan Cooperative Gopal Credit Card Scheme will provide interest-free loans to cattle rearers.
3. Establishment of New Cooperative Societies
2,500 Gram Panchayats will get new Village Service Cooperative Societies.
Strengthening the cooperative network at the village level.
4. Long-Term Agricultural Loans
₹400 crore will be allocated for long-term agricultural and non-agricultural cooperative sectors.
Farmers will receive a 5% interest subsidy on these loans.
Key Achievements of the Rajasthan Government in 2024-25:
₹1,355 crore transferred to the bank accounts of 70.21 lakh farmers under the CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
₹21,043 crore interest-free crop loans distributed to 30.43 lakh farmers.
28,000+ cattle farmers received interest-free loans up to ₹1 lakh.
How to Avail the Benefits?
Farmers do not need to apply separately for the CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
If a farmer is already a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana, they will automatically receive benefits from this scheme.
Farmers not receiving PM Kisan benefits can contact their nearest agriculture office or e-Mitra center for assistance.
