Registration Deadline Extended Until April 9:
In Madhya Pradesh, the last date for wheat procurement registration under the Rabi Marketing Year 2025-26 at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) has been extended to April 9. Earlier, the deadline was March 31, 2025.
State Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput has urged farmers to take advantage of this extended period and complete their registration as soon as possible.
MSP and Bonus Benefits for Farmers:
The government has fixed the MSP for wheat at ₹2,425 per quintal. Additionally, the state government is offering a ₹175 per quintal bonus, bringing the total price to ₹2,600 per quintal for farmers.
Currently, wheat prices in the market range between ₹1,800 and ₹2,500 per quintal. This means that selling at the MSP will provide farmers with better profits.
Where and How to Register?
If you haven't registered yet, you can do so at the following locations:
Designated registration centers
MP Online kiosks, Common Service Centers (CSCs), Lok Seva Kendras, and cyber cafes (registration fee: ₹50)
Using the 'MP Kisan App' on an Android smartphone
Through Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat, Tehsil offices, and government committees
Documents Required for Registration:
Land ownership receipt (जमीन की पावती)
Aadhaar card
Bank passbook
Bank account must be linked to Aadhaar (if not, visit the bank and get it linked)
The registration will only be valid if the land records, Khasra details, and Aadhaar card information match correctly. If there are any discrepancies, they can be corrected at the Tehsil office.
Registration Guidelines for Farmers:
Registration is done through the Revenue Department’s online portal. If there is any discrepancy related to land area or crop details, farmers should visit the Tehsil office for corrections.
OTP verification on the Aadhaar-linked mobile number is mandatory for registration.
Co-owners of shared land (शामिलाती भू-स्वामी) can register their respective shares separately.
Tenant, sharecropper, and forest lease farmers can register only through cooperative societies with a valid lease agreement on stamp paper from the previous year.
If the landowner has passed away, the legal heir can register in their name only if the land mutation is completed.
If a farmer owns land in different villages within the same district, the total land area can be combined in one registration. However, if the land is in
another district, registration must be done separately for that district using Samagra ID and Aadhaar card.
Government Appeal to Farmers:
The registration deadline has been extended to April 9 to ensure that maximum farmers can avail of this opportunity. Farmers are advised to visit the nearest registration center as soon as possible and secure the benefits of the MSP scheme.
